Out of Town Patients
Thanks to advances in technology over the years, prospective patients from around the world are invited to schedule a “virtual consultation” with Dr. Bassichis via Facetime, phone, or email. You can now discuss your facial cosmetic surgery procedure(s) with Dr. Bassichis while in the comfort of your own home, without the trouble of coordinating excessive travel to our Dallas office. During this consultation, you can voice your facial health concerns, listen to Dr. Bassichis explain your surgical and/or non-surgical options, and speak with our Surgical Care Coordinator about scheduling options.
If you are interested in scheduling a virtual consultation with Dr. Bassichis, please call (972) 774-1777 and ask to speak with our Surgical Care Coordinator. You may then proceed with the following steps:
Step 1: Email Photos.
Dr. Bassichis asks that out of town patients email photos of the front and side views of their face. Using our computer imaging system, Dr. Bassichis will evaluate your photos and make recommendations that will give you the very best results.
How to take a proper photo:
- Photos should be taken by a trusted friend or family member.
- Stand in front of a blank background (i.e. wall or door).
- Maintain a straight face, no smiling.
- Photos should be clear (not blurry).
- Photos should be taken of your entire face (the top of your head to your collar).
Step 2: Schedule a Conference Call or Skype Consultation.
Our Surgical Care Coordinator will schedule you for a conference call or Facetime consultation with Dr. Bassichis. During this virtual visit, Dr. Bassichis will have assessed your photos and can make recommendations and discuss your procedure in further detail. Our Surgical Care Coordinator will then provide you with a financial quote for your procedure, as well as discuss other important information to help you prepare for your surgery.
Step 3: Schedule the Surgical Appointments
After meeting with Dr. Bassichis and deciding which surgical or non-surgical route is best for you, our Surgical Care Coordinator will schedule your surgery date according to your availability. An in-office pre-operative visit will be scheduled for the day prior to your surgery date, as well as the appropriate post-operative appointments necessary for after your procedure. At this time, our Surgical Care Coordinator will be happy to walk you through additional details; including post-operative recovery care, accommodations, restaurants, and activities in the Dallas area, etc.
