Dr. Bassichis is recognized as an accomplished professional by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. He serves as a clinical professor for head and neck surgery at University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center and sits on the clinical faculty as a Dallas facial plastic surgeon and reconstructive doctor at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Previously, Dr. Bassichis completed his medical internship in general surgery, finished his residency in head and neck surgery, and served as chief resident for head and neck surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Hospitals.
